Delphi Forecasting - Round 1
Running throughout the project we shall conduct a Delphi forecasting exercise across the research community to gather views on likely / desirable futures for research support environments and services. This exercise will be conducted via the website.
In the first round of the exercise the respondents rated the features in the following order of importance:
- 1. Access to all journals.
- 2. Pushed alerts for conferences/papers/funding.
- (Joint)3. Aggregation of data.
- (Joint)3. Quality control and ranking system.
- 5. Personalisation and bookmarks.
- 6. Peer review facility.
- 7. Grid connection/services.
- 8. Online collaboration tools.
- 9. Desktop video conferencing.
